This all has opened my eyes. There is a huge difference between Democrats and Republicans...Republicans can accept Obama a lot more than Democrats were able to accept Bush. I am not a prime example of such acceptance, given my screen name, but I know many conservatives who are dealing with the change in an ok manner. There is no way that everything that happened unfavorably in the past 8 years was President Bushs fault, considering we had a democratic congress for a number of those years. Personal responsibility upon the American public needs to come into effect. I commend President Bush for his service to our country, and how he handled a tough situation. I am an avid Bush supporter, but I hope that Obama does well...for the sake of the American people.

I dont think too many people know that MLK was a republican...interesting fact considering the circumstances. Not that he wouldn't have been proud of how far we have come
