Bush failed to win the approval of the media, and therefore the lemmings. He was, however, a talented president who dealt well with the triple-threat of 9/11, short-sighted Clinton-era policies (deregulation and affirmative action loans, to name a couple), and the bursting of the "dot com bubble." He also signed the partial-birth abortion ban that Clinton vetoed three times, reinstated the Mexico City Policy (blocking hundreds of millions of tax payer dollars from funding overseas abortions) and managed to pass other pro-life legislation. God bless former President Bush for eight years of faithful service!
